AI WorkBuddy Beta Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

AI WorkBuddy Beta reads the visible title and description of a LinkedIn job listing only to identify ATS keywords and save the current Active Job Session in the user's local Chrome browser storage.

Before this processing is enabled, the extension displays an in-product notice explaining this use and requires the user's affirmative consent.

Information handled

The extension handles the job title and visible job-description text from a LinkedIn job listing. It processes the description temporarily in the browser to identify keywords. The extracted keyword list and an internal update timestamp are saved as the Active Job Session.

How information is used

This information is used only to show the active job title and ATS keywords in the extension popup, including when the user opens the popup on another website.

Storage, sharing, and retention

All processing and storage occur locally in the user's browser using Chrome local storage. AI WorkBuddy Beta does not send this information to the developer, external servers, analytics providers, advertisers, or any other third party. The stored Active Job Session is replaced when a new LinkedIn job listing is detected. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored data.

Your choices

You can remove the Active Job Session by uninstalling AI WorkBuddy Beta. You may also clear extension storage through Chrome's extension settings.
